My decades-old PU leather (polyurethane leather) FootJoy golf shoes use a spike standard that is obsolete, difficult-to-find, and very expensive to replace, so I got these Zakey golf shoes, which use what is probably the most common type of spikes.
I got the white-on-white version and I really like the looks. The PU leather is soft and attractive.
I have a medium-width foot and I always wear a men’s size 8.5 shoe, so I ordered size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. The shoes are comfortable and grip the ground well. The shoes come with comfortable, good-quality, foam footbeds, that are removeable in case you want to replace the footbeds with your own orthotics.
Each shoe accepts 9 spikes (18 total). The shoes come with 22 spikes, leaving 4 spare spikes. The spikes are not pre-inserted, so you’ll have to do that yourself. A spike wrench is included.
We’ll see how they hold up, but they seem well made so I expect them to last a long time. If they fail to meet my expectations, I’ll revise this review (written 2024-10-08). These are good-looking, well functioning shoes at a good price, so 5-stars.
I recently received the Ask Echo Golf Shoes for Men, and they are great!! They keep my feet dry even on damp mornings. The spikes provide excellent grip on the course. They’re comfortable and durable, perfect for walking 18 holes of golf. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality golf shoes for a good price.

Yo tengo un pie muy ancho y me quedan fenomenal.. es verdad que pedí una talla y media más... pero no me arrepiento, para los que tengais un pie normal de ancho, pedid vuestra talla porque son bastante exactas. Parecen bastante impermeables, solo me queda probarlos en el campo para ver qué tal se comportan.. Considero que ha sido una Muy buena compra.. !!!! ESPERO DECIR LO MISMO EN UN MES !!!!
